Sliding and Swinging Doors

PLEIADI sliding doors show their versatility in the number of different frame models on which they can be fitted: Scrigno Base, Scrigno Granluce, Scrigno Pratico and Scrigno Essential. In this case the disappearing door is suitable for all spaces, and is ideal in all situations where space saving is of vital importance. Hollow-core panel with a thickness of 40 mm, supplied with a bottom groove for the floor guide and pre-mortised for the Kit Chiudiscrigno handle with lock (not included).

PLEIADI sliding doors are available in standard sizes in these finishes: light Tanganyika, walnut Tanganyika, semi-finished Tanganyika and white lacquered. Available in versions with flush panels, fully glazed or glazed in small panes. Doors are ready for the insertion of a sheet of glass with a thickness of 6 mm, which is not supplied, permitting maximum personalization by users.
Brown sealing strips are supplied for all wood models, with grey seals for the white lacquer version. Sealing strips for double doors are also included. The uprights of the frame surround are rounded, with flat crosspieces at the top.

Technical characteristics of sliding door panel

  • hollow-core panel with thickness 40 mm;
  • finishes available: Light Tanganyika, Walnut Tanganyika, Sanded Tanganyika;
  • RAL 9010 White Lacquer;
  • versions available: flush door, glazed door, glazed panelled door;
  • lower groove for floor guide;
  • for double doors, door post sealing strips are included;
  • single doors are always pre-drilled for “Kit Chiudiscrigno” handles with lock (not included);
  • designed for fitting of 6 mm thickness glass;
  • glass is not supplied;
  • sealing strips are brown for all finishes, except for White Lacquer, for which the sealing strip is grey;
  • Versions with full glazing and with glazing panels are not available for masonry walls with thickness 90 cm or for plasterboard walls with thickness 100 mm.
  • Natural wood veneers are used in the production of doors and doorposts.
    This could result in slight colour differences between the various components.

 

General characteristics of door post and architrave

  • vertical architrave sections are rounded, and horizontal sections are flat. All architrave sections must be cut to fit the clear opening size during installation;
  • the architrave is supplied with a 5 mm projection for standard installation. In case of additional thickness due to wall tiles, an architrave with 20 mm projection is available on request.
