Automation for sliding doors

OPEN is a device that makes it possible to automatically open and close a sliding disappearing door mounted on a SCRIGNO GOLD BASE frame. Available in kit form, it is easy to fit, even in the case of sliding disappearing doors already installed. The compact motor unit is fixed to the track at the top of the frame and is totally concealed, leaving the external appearance of the door unchanged.

Available sizes:
The kit is avaiable in two different sizes: 1000 mm and 1200 mm.
The 1000 mm version can be used to automatically open and close a sliding disappearing door with an opening width of 1000 mm, and it can be easily cut to adapt it to widths of 900/800/750/700/600 mm.
The 1200 mm version can be used to automatically open and close a sliding disappearing door with an opening width of 1200 mm, and it can be easily cut to adapt it to a width of 1100 mm.

Operation modes:
The kit has been designed to allow doors to be automated with the following operation modes:

Automatic mode
The door is opened with the “ap_auto” command, and then closes automatically after a programmed interval (from 1 to 20 seconds).
The “ap_auto” command can be provided by:

  • a radiofrequency button
  • a wired button (not supplied)
  • radar (optional)

Push&Go mode
The Push&Go function allows the door to be opened or closed before the programmed interval by simply pushing the door in the desired direction with a slight pressure of the hand. This operation mode can also be the only operating mode if preferred, without connecting any other command devices, such as a radar system, buttons or receivers.

Manual mode
This operating mode is activated with the “stop” command sent by a switch. The door goes into manual mode, and will act as if the electronic automation system was absent (“ap_auto” command and “Push&Go” function inhibited). When the “Stop” command is released, the door returns to automatic operation.

Safety:
Obstacles
The automation system is fitted with an amperometric motor control and an encoder that allows the door movement system to be automatically inverted in case of impacts against an obstacle, leaving the door opening clear.

Absence of power supply
An important feature of the system is the reversibility of the type of coupling between the motor and the drive belt, which in case of the absence of the mains power supply allows the door to be opened or closed manually.

Conformity
Conformant to the applicable sections of Low Voltage Directive 2006/95/EC
Conformant to the applicable sections of Electromagnetic Compatibility Directive 2004/108/EC
